Citizens Crime Commission takes a firm stand against terrorism

On February 5, the Citizens Crime Commission testified at Portland City Council hearing in support of the City joining the local Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF). Executive Director Suzanne Hayden said the position was a result of the Commission’s fact finding efforts.

“After much discussion with our top public safety leaders locally, researching the work of the task forces and interviewing members of task forces and city officials in  other cities, we believe Portland Police will be better able to keep our community safe by joining the JTTF and having access to the information shared in this collaborative law enforcement team.”
